At Hisar Schools, technology and artificial intelligence are approached based on pedagogical purpose, safe and responsible use, human oversight, and the development of digital competencies. In this first issue of BSM Perspective, we bring together the topics discussed during the seminar period and the essential resources you may need throughout the year.

The Ministry of National Education system where ethical declarations and ethical violation reporting processes are carried out regarding AI applications in education.

Teacher Competencies Transformed by AI
The changing roles and competencies of teachers in the context of the transformation created by AI in education were discussed.
Artificial Intelligence and Child Protection
The use of AI was discussed from a child protection perspective, and approaches supporting digital safety were evaluated.
Madlen | AI-Supported Education Platform
The basic features of the platform and applications for its use in educational processes were discussed. Madlen has been made available to primary and middle school teachers; Madlen School has been offered to middle school students.
Artificial Intelligence for Educators
AI tools, their areas of use in education, and ethical use principles were discussed with our newly starting colleagues.
— 5. DIGITAL PLATFORMS AND TOOLS —
The digital platforms and tools used before the new academic year were reviewed in terms of access, usage processes, and teacher resources.
Atlas Rubicon
Sustainability, Global Citizenship, and Metacognitive Learning objectives have been added to the Atlas platform and made linkable with unit plans.
Google AI Pro for Education
The Google AI Pro for Education license has been made available to academic and administrative staff. In this context, Gemini, Gemini Notebook, Google Vids, and AI features within Workspace can be accessed via Hisar Schools accounts.
Google Classroom & Calendar
Google Classroom is one of our primary digital learning environments for sharing course content, conducting learning activities, and managing assignments, assessments, and feedback processes. Guidelines for use, teacher resources, and short training videos have been updated.

Roles and Responsibilities
Materials supporting students to use digital technologies safely and responsibly for learning, research, communication, collaboration, and production purposes.
Technology Use Posters
Short reminders supporting basic routines regarding technology use in classroom and digital learning environments.
— 7. WHAT'S NEXT? —
BSM Perspective will continue throughout the year with short and focused content addressing the practical implications of policies, standards, and guidelines related to technology, artificial intelligence, and digital learning.
BSM Bulletin will continue to be published with more comprehensive content on teacher experiences, pedagogical applications, research and evaluation studies, and current developments.
BSM: Learning Meetups face-to-face trainings will also start shortly. With these gatherings, we aim to support the development of our digital competencies and the purposeful, conscious, and effective use of technology and AI in learning, teaching, and working processes. We will share the training schedule and announcements soon.
